Child-safe, allergy-safe cleaning in San Diego
Most cleaning companies treat non-toxic as a premium tier you pay extra for. We do not — plant-based, biodegradable products are what we bring to every job, at the same $60 per labor hour as anything else. If you have a baby, a pet, an allergy or simply would rather not breathe synthetic fragrance for an evening, you do not have to ask for anything or pay more.
Plant-based and biodegradable products are what we bring as standard — no chlorine bleach, no ammonia, no synthetic fragrance, no toxic surfactants. There is no green tier and no surcharge. Ask for fragrance-free and you get genuinely unscented, which is not the same thing as green.
What non-toxic actually means here
What is not in the bottle
No chlorine bleach, no ammonia, no synthetic fragrance, no toxic surfactants. Products are plant-based and biodegradable, and they rinse cleanly rather than leaving a film on stone, glass or sealed wood.
Fragrance-free is available on request
Non-toxic and fragrance-free are not the same thing — plenty of green products are heavily scented with essential oils, which is its own problem for a migraine or asthma sufferer. Ask for fragrance-free and you get genuinely unscented.
Where we will tell you something stronger is right
Heavy mineral scale, active mould and some grout restoration are jobs where a plant-based product genuinely underperforms. We say so rather than scrubbing for three billed hours, explain the options, and let you decide. Honesty here is worth more than a marketing claim.
It is the standard on every service
Recurring, deep, move-in/move-out, Airbnb turnover, post-construction and commercial all use the same products. There is no separate green tier and no surcharge.
Where we use it
Recurring cleaning

San Diego non-toxic cleaning questions
Do you offer non-toxic house cleaning in San Diego?Yes, county-wide, and it is our standard rather than a paid upgrade. We work from Chula Vista and Coronado through Point Loma, Clairemont and North Park up to La Jolla, Del Mar and Solana Beach, and east to La Mesa and Lakeside.
Is non-toxic cleaning safe for children and pets?Yes. No chlorine bleach, no ammonia, no synthetic fragrance and no toxic surfactants, so the floors children crawl on and pets walk across are not holding residue.
Do you charge more for green cleaning? No. $60 per labor hour applies to every service and every neighborhood. Plant-based products are what we bring by default, so there is nothing to upgrade to.
I have asthma. Can you clean fragrance-free?Yes. Say so when you book and we go completely unscented, ventilate as we work, and sequence the rooms so you are never in the space being cleaned. Worth asking for specifically — many green products are strongly scented with essential oils, which can be just as triggering.
Is plant-based cleaning as effective as conventional? For everyday cleaning, yes — the difference is in the residue left behind, not the dirt removed. For heavy mineral scale or active mould we will tell you honestly that something stronger is the right tool, rather than billing hours against a product that will not win.
